Former Donald Trump Campaign Advisor George Papadopoulos to report to prison on Monday

George Papadopoulos the former Trump campaign foreign policy advisor must report to Jail on Monday, this is after the judge rejected his request to delay his sentence stating there was no justification to delay the sentence.

George Papadopoulos has been sentenced to 14 days in prison. This is after he pleaded guilty for the offense of lying to the federal agents about his interactions with the Russian intermediaries during the 2016 elections. He was also sentenced to 200 hours of community service, $9500 fine and a one year supervised release. George Lawyer at the time Thomas Breen said that the sentence was a fair one and it was wrong to lie to the federal agents.

He had asked the court to delay the sentence as the court waits on the verdict of Mr. Mueller’s appointment. He argued if Mr. Mueller was found unfit for the office then his case should be dismissed and therefore his sentence revoked. According to Judge Randolph Moss the time he agreed to plead guilty most of his rights of consent were forfeited and therefore the Mr. Muellers verdict will not affect the case in any way.

Mr. George Papadopoulos is expected to surrender himself at the Wisconsin prison. This is a medium-security and it is used for first-time offenders and nonviolent offenders.

When Donald Trump was asked about George before the scandal came out, he described him an excellent guy but after he pleaded guilty for the offense, Donald denied knowing George Papadopoulos. Former Donald trump adviser Micheal Caputo also said that George Papadopoulos was just a mere coffee boy during the campaign period.
